Current Puppy Round-up

I have been nothing but pleased with my puppies from these parents
and have gotten nothing but great feedback from previous buyers.
This will be my last batch for another year now.
Available October 1st. Three males and six females...

These pups are AFC registered, have had their dew claws removed and will have their first round of shots before they leave. My male Rocky is out of Honky Tonk lines and my female is out of Elhew Damascus lines.  These are some outstanding pups produced by some outstanding parents. Rocky and Libby are the best pointers I have ever owned.  My dogs are hunted heavily from the middle of August till the end of March. The puppies are very well socialized, played with by my two little boys daily. It is common for my puppies to start pointing the wing as early as five weeks. I've lots of references. The puppies are selling for $500 each OBO. I know that right now times are tough, so I am open to all sorts of trades, ie... guns, archery equipment, reef aquarium supplies, just hit me up. You might be surprised with what I will accept. Thanks for looking. Call or Text 208-681-5495

Season-to-Date in Photos

Rocky pointing grouse... I am loving this dog- he really is AWESOME!

Pretty picture of hunting area in central Idaho.

With literally NO ROOM in the vehicle, my son Taron got to ride in the kennel on a recent hunting outing! Funny, good times

More cool area

One of my favorite hawking buddies, Gary Moon, stickin' with us in the field

Sage grouse poop= Idaho incense. Ha ha

Spike/ Stinky- my main flying bird right now. "Stinky" because he killed a skunk on his first flight out awhile back!

Rocky

Female pup that went to Steve Chindgren just before Christmas- I was a bit bummed to see the last of the puppies go- they were proving to be OUTSTANDING!

Slow start to the season

So far this fall there's been many changes in our lives. We have finally moved to eastern Idaho I now live on the north side of Idaho Falls. With the new move came challenges of where to find game.

West of Idaho Falls is some of my favorite country in the whole world.  As you can see in the first picture it is like a sea of sagebrush.  It goes on and on and on.

In the second picture you'll see some sage grouse poop that I found a top of a cinder butte in the middle of nowhere.  Rising up from the desert floor gave me this beautiful overlook.

I have been fortunate enough to find sage grouse on every trip to the desert.  I'm looking forward to bringing 1 of these big beautiful birds to the bag.  One thing I love about the desert is being able to watch the dogs do their work.

Recently I had the chance to take Taron Keaton my older boys to the NAFA meet in Vernal Utah over the week of thanksgiving.  It was a good experience for all of us, But I'm afraid we might have to take a pass on future ones until the younger boys are old enough to go.

Thanks for looking and have a great hawking season.

Ready to Go

Here are some of the best puppies your will ever find. These are from Honky Tonk Additude lines from the male and from heavy Elhew Damascus lines on the female. As you can see they are full of point at only 6 weeks old. They will be ready to go to their new homes as early as next week. Please let me know if you are interested. They are $400 each + shipping. I know that time are tough for a lot of people right now, so I will consider all trades. I lean more towards hunting and fishing supplies. Just let me know what you have. Thanks for looking. 208-681-5495
